Updated: April 15, 2024

The Tamarhythm Project , which began in 2021 as the first project in Tokyo, is back on track this year!

We are looking for students who are interested in this project, which will help turn ideas to invigorate the local area into reality.
This year, we will further materialize the flexible ideas of students and aim to realize them in the future through dialogue with companies and demonstration experiments in the five cities of Minamitama. We look forward to the participation of all students who are interested!

What is Tamarism Project?

The aim is to revitalize the local economy by creating a practical tourism town development plan for the region. Given that the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic has had a major impact on the local economy, including the tourism and hospitality industries, this project is being carried out in collaboration with the public, private and academic sectors, with the aim of sustainable revitalization of the region, including rediscovering its charms.
The project calls for teams made up of university students and other leaders of the next generation to submit ideas for microtourism that address the challenges facing cities with suburban residential areas. Over the course of a year, teams will work with local governments, tourism associations, and local businesses to develop their businesses, with the aim of putting them into practical use from next year onwards.
