Recruitment of firefighting support volunteers

In the event of a large-scale natural disaster that occurs in Inagi City, firefighting staff and volunteers will work together to quickly respond to the disaster, and will support the firefighting organization in reducing damage and preventing the spread of damage.

(1) In the event of a disaster, we will carry out the following activities in cooperation with firefighting staff and fire brigade members.

• First aid activity
• Fire extinguishing support
• Supporting rescue efforts
• Collecting disaster information
• Support for emergency measures such as construction and operation of shelters
• Other support activities

(2) Every year, we participate in rescue/rescue training, lifesaving training, firefighting parades, local disaster prevention drills, etc.

We purchase insurance at public expense in case of injury during training or firefighting support.

Loan items: fire support volunteer registration card, armband, helmet

Benefits: jumper, hat, whistle

In principle, those who are 16 years old or older who live, work, or go to school in Inagi City and meet any of the following requirements: (1) Those who are willing to support firefighting and disaster prevention activities (2) Those who have knowledge of emergency relief (3) Those who have experience as a fire brigade member or a boy firefighting club member in the past (4) Those who have the necessary qualifications and skills to support recovery activities after an earthquake
