After that, after repeated discussions with the head of the Osatate Neighborhood Association and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's Kanto Regional Development Bureau Keihin River Office (hereinafter referred to as the Keihin River Office) regarding the felling of the acacia trees, the Keihin River Office proposed a gradual felling with the cooperation of a public interest incorporated foundation, and requested that the local residents agree to the proposed felling as a condition for discussions toward its implementation.
