Q&A overview

Contents of question Answer

About the i-Bus
The route has changed, making it inconvenient. It also became more complicated.

We have received a variety of opinions regarding the i-Bus. First, we considered the role of community buses and route buses such as the i-Bus, and community buses complement the city's public transportation by running on routes that are not operated by private businesses because they are unprofitable. Therefore, I would like you to understand that the more you run, the more you will be in the red.
The deficit is covered by taxes received from citizens. The revised route was created from the perspective of how to make the most of the city's limited financial resources. Once the Nambu Line rotary, underpass, Minamiyama, and Kamihirao construction is completed, new roads will be created, so we would like to consider new routes in conjunction with that.

Regarding town development (1) When will the transportation network connecting Minamitama Station and Koyodai be established?
(2) When will the rotary in front of Inagi Naganuma Station be constructed?
(3) Is it possible to use the area under the elevated Nambu Line to store bicycles?
(4) Is there a possibility that a bus route to Koremasa Station will be established?

(1) The transportation network will be reviewed after the rotary construction at Minamitama Station is completed.
(2) Scheduled to occur in two to three years.
(3) Stores such as a supermarket under Inagi-Naganuma Station, as well as bicycle parking lots and parking lots for use of the shopping street in the vicinity, public use such as the warehouse of the Silver Human Resources Center and the activity base of NPO corporations, and the north-south area. There are plans to run about three roads between Inagi-Naganuma and Minami-Tama.
(4) Put it on the table for consideration at the public transportation review meeting.

About developing a farm that everyone can use
There are many people in the city who want to farm. Could you please create a system that would allow us to better match landowners?

There are three community garden systems in Inagi City. Due to tax barriers, it would be difficult to rent farmland to users indefinitely, but I would like to research a system that can directly match users and landowners in the future.

Regarding measures for the elderly
I would like you to consider whether there is a system that can effectively utilize the vitality of the increasing number of elderly people.

As a support measure for retirees to make a debut in the community, various forms such as citizen lectures have been held, and the Citizen Activities Support Center has been established as the core of this. The city would like to collaborate with the Citizen Activities Support Center, which has become an NPO, to revitalize local activities.
