About the tax rate revision of corporate municipal tax corporate tax percent

As part of the tax reform in fiscal 2016, the corporate inhabitant tax rate was reduced in order to correct the uneven distribution of tax sources among regions and reduce disparities in financial strength.
In light of this reform, the corporate inhabitant tax rate will be reduced as follows for business years beginning on or after October 1, 2019. In addition, transitional measures have been established for estimated tax returns in conjunction with this tax reform.

Contents of tax rate revision

The revised corporate inhabitant tax rate for Inagi City is as follows:

Corporations with a value of 100 million yen or more and mutual companies stipulated in the Insurance Business Law

A corporation with less than 100 million yen, a corporation with no capital or investment, or an association or foundation that is not a corporation and has a designated representative or administrator.

Note: There will be no change to the flat-rate tax rate.

Transitional measures for planned returns

Due to the revision of the corporate tax rate, for the scheduled tax return amount for the first business year starting on or after October 1, 2019 , the corporate tax rate will be calculated as follows : "Corporate tax rate amount for the previous business year x 3.7 ÷ previous business year" Transitional measures will be taken for the following period :
Note: Usually, it is "Corporate tax amount for the previous business year x 6 ÷ number of months in the previous business year".

Application start date

It will be applied from business years starting on or after October 1, 2019.
