death notification

Within 7 days from the day you learned of the death

• The city, town or village office of the deceased's registered domicile
• The city, town or village office where the person died
• Municipal office where the notifier is located

• Relatives living together
• Relatives who do not live together
• cohabitant
• landlord
• landowner
• Land/house manager

• Death certificate (doctor's certificate required)

After receiving the death certificate, we will issue a cremation permit.
We will ask you at the counter which crematorium you will be using, so please let us know.

Possible date and time for procedures

8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on business days Note: 8:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on public holidays. Applications will be accepted at the city hall night duty room during times other than the above. Masu.
If the office is open on holidays or at the city hall night duty room, only "deposit" will be accepted.
Note: The branch office does not accept notifications regarding family registers.
