Voluntary cognition

　　It becomes effective upon notification.

At the time of judicial recognition

　　Within 10 days from the date of judgment

• Municipal office of the father's permanent domicile to be recognized
• Municipal office of the child's legal domicile to be recognized
• Municipal office where the notifier is located

Note : In the case of fetal acknowledgment, notification can only be made at the municipal office of the mother's permanent domicile.

Possible date and time for procedures

8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on business days Note: 8:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on public holidays. Applications will be accepted at the city hall night duty room during times other than the above. Masu.
