The procedure for receiving the old-age basic pension is from the age of 65. If you wish, you can apply early from the age of 60, but the amount you receive will be reduced, and after that you will not be able to claim the Disability Basic Pension or Widow's Pension. You can also request a deferred payment after the age of 66 to increase the amount you receive.
Please consult with the Pension Office or the nearest Pension Consultation Center for the expected amount of individual pension benefits.

Pension Office Note: Those who are receiving a special old-age employees' pension can receive both the basic old-age pension and the employees' old-age pension by mailing the "Pension Claim Form (National Pension and Employees' Pension Insurance Old-Age Benefit)" sent by the Japan Pension Service in the month they reach age 65.
