We will give a "baby gift" to those who have visited the baby.

Public health nurses and visiting instructors visit all families where a child was born.
When your child is born, be sure to submit a notification of birth (you can leave the child's name blank).
We accept visits and consultations for newborns and premature babies based on the birth notification slip.

During the baby visit, you will be able to meet pregnant women and their children, and those who apply will receive a ` `baby gift (100,000 yen electronic catalog gift: National and Tokyo metropolitan childbirth and childcare support project) ''.

The birth notification slip is handed out together with the maternal and child health handbook issued at the time of notification of pregnancy. (Two-dimensional code on flyer or postcard)
Please be sure to submit the birth notification slip even if you will be late returning home, such as when you are going home.
Also, if you have received a Maternal and Child Health Handbook outside of Inagi City, please contact the Inagi City Oyako Comprehensive Support Center (042-378-3434).
Note: The notification of birth also serves as notification of a low birth weight baby (notification of a child weighing less than 2,500 grams at birth based on Article 18 of the Maternal and Child Health Law).

Families with children up to 4 months old

• Observation of the child's health and growth (including weight measurement)
• Breast-feeding and child-rearing consultation
• Mother's own health consultation
• Guidance on administrative services (medical checkups, vaccinations, consultation desks, etc.)

If you are on a homecoming to a municipality other than Inagi City and would like to visit your hometown, please check the flow below.

Flow until receiving a baby visit (newborn visit guidance) in other municipalities

1. Check with the municipality (city, ward, town, or village) that the guardian wishes to receive a visit to Inagi citizens.
2. The guardian applies electronically to the Inagi City Parent and Child Comprehensive Support Center (see the link below).
3. The Inagi City Oyako Comprehensive Support Center creates a “request form” and sends it to the municipality confirmed in 1.
4. Parents will be contacted by the requesting municipality to visit Akachan.

(Note) If you would like to receive a "baby gift", you will need to visit your baby in Inagi City.

Eligible people (baby gifts)

Those who meet the following requirements

1. The resident registration of the child and the person who is raising them must be in Inagi City on the date of the baby visit.
2. Those who can submit a baby gift application form and receive future accompanying support (questionnaires for each term, health checkups, etc.)
3. Those who have visited their baby before 4 months of age (Those who have visited their hometown must also receive a visit in Inagi City.)

• Giving birth overseas and returning to Japan
• Parents are in the process of divorcing

Those who are raising a child born on or after April 1, 2023
Tokyo Metropolitan Government website: "We will continue to put babies first through the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's childbirth and child-rearing support program."

The gift is an "electronic catalog gift" worth 100,000 yen per child .　

1. The guardian will send the notification of birth to the city.
2. I will adjust the schedule for visiting the baby. (I will contact you from multiple mobile phones)
3. We will visit the baby and meet the pregnant woman and her child. You will receive an application form (signed in the consent section).
4. Distribute the URL, ID, and password to access the homepage of "Electronic Catalog Gift".
5. Parents access the "Electronic Catalog Gift" site and select products.
6. You will receive the item you have selected.

　(Note) The expiration date for using the electronic catalog gift site is 6 months from the first registration .
