We will give a “baby gift” to those who receive a baby visit.

For baby visits, public health nurses and visiting instructors visit all families where a child is born.
When your child is born, please be sure to submit a birth notification slip (you can leave the child's name blank).
We accept visits and consultations for newborns and premature infants based on the birth notification form.

During the baby visit, you will be able to meet pregnant women and their children, and those who apply will receive a ` `baby gift (100,000 yen electronic catalog gift: National and Tokyo metropolitan childbirth and childcare support project) ''.

The birth notification slip will be given to you together with the maternal and child health handbook that was issued when you registered your pregnancy. (Two-dimensional code on flyer or postcard)
Even if you are returning home late, please be sure to submit your birth notification form.
Additionally, if you received a maternal and child health handbook outside of Inagi City, please contact the Inagi City Oyako Comprehensive Support Center (042-378-3434).
Note: The birth notification slip also serves as a notification of a low birth weight baby (notification of a child weighing less than 2,500 grams at birth based on Article 18 of the Maternal and Child Health Act).

Families with children up to 4 months old

• Observation of your child's health and growth status (weight measurement may also be performed)
• Breastfeeding and child-rearing consultations
• Mother's own health consultation
• Information on administrative services (medical examinations, vaccinations, consultation counters, etc.)

If you are returning home to a city other than Inagi City and would like to visit your hometown, please check the procedure below.

Steps to receive baby visit (newborn visit guidance) at another local government

1. Check with the local government (city, town, or village) in which the parents would like to receive the baby visit to see if Inagi residents can receive baby visits.
2. The guardian applies electronically to the Inagi City Parent and Child Comprehensive Support Center (see the link below).
3. The Inagi City Oyako Comprehensive Support Center will create a "request form" and send it to the local government confirmed in step 1.
4. The local government will contact the parents to inform them of a baby visit.

(Note) If you would like to receive a “baby gift,” you will also need to have your baby visited by Inagi City.

Target audience (baby gift)

Those who meet the following requirements

1. The child and the person raising them must be registered as residents in Inagi City on the day of the baby's visit.
2. Those who submit a Baby Gift application form and are willing to receive future support (surveys for each period, health checks, etc.)
3. Those who received a visit to their baby before the age of 4 months (those who received a visit at their hometown must also receive a visit in Inagi City)

(1) Excludes those who have received a similar gift (childcare support gift from childbirth and childcare support subsidy) in another local government (such as the local government before moving in) (2) If the following items apply, comprehensive support for parents and children is required. • I gave birth overseas and returned home.
• Parents are negotiating divorce
• Infant admitted to facility
• entrusted with foster care
• Evacuated due to domestic violence
• the infant died after birth

Those who are raising a child born on or after April 1, 2023
Tokyo Metropolitan Government website: "We will continue to put babies first through the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's childbirth and child-rearing support program."

The gift is an "electronic catalog gift" worth 100,000 yen per child .　

1. Parents will send the birth notification slip to the city.
2. We will arrange a schedule for your baby's visit. (Contact from multiple mobile phones)
3. We will visit the baby and meet the pregnant woman and her child. You will receive an application form (signed in the consent section).
4. We will distribute the URL, ID, and password to access the "Electronic Catalog Gift" homepage.
5. Caregivers access the "electronic gift catalog" site and select a product.
6. The selected product will be delivered to you.
