Self-pay percentage

At the counter of a medical institution, etc., you will pay a portion of your medical expenses as a co-payment. The self-pay ratio will be determined on August 1st of each year based on income, etc.
Due to the revision of the law, "20%" will be newly added to the self-pay ratio category from October 1, 2020. Among those whose co-payment rate is 10%, those with incomes above a certain level will have a co-payment rate of 20%.
