If you are enrolled in workplace health insurance (social insurance, National Health Insurance Association, Mutual Aid Insurance, etc.) and withdraw from that insurance and do not enroll in another health insurance, you must enroll in National Health Insurance. yeah.
Please complete this procedure within 14 days after you withdraw from the workplace health insurance.
Please note that if the enrollment procedure is delayed, the insurance tax will be paid retroactively.
(1) A document stating the date of loss of eligibility for health insurance at the workplace e.g. Certificate of loss of eligibility for social insurance
Note: You cannot apply for documents that only indicate the date of retirement (such as a separation notice).
The National Health Insurance tax is levied from the month in which you acquire the National Health Insurance qualification (= the month in which you withdraw from the workplace health insurance).
Please note that you will not be charged from the month in which you completed the procedure.
If you are enrolled in workplace health insurance, you must complete procedures to withdraw from the National Health Insurance.
This must be done by the person joining, not by the company.
(1) New health insurance card (copy acceptable)
All members, including dependents, are required.
(2) National Health Insurance card All members of the National Health Insurance who withdraw will be required to return the card.
If you use your National Health Insurance card after you become eligible for workplace health insurance, you may be asked to return 70% to 90% of your medical expenses (the insurer's portion).
If you accidentally use it, please contact the medical institution where you consulted as soon as possible.
After completing the procedures for moving into Inagi City at the Citizens' Affairs Division, please follow the procedures for enrolling in the National Health Insurance.
After completing the procedures to move out of Inagi City at the Citizens Affairs Division, bring your health insurance card and follow the procedures to withdraw from the National Health Insurance.
After completing the procedures for moving residents at the Citizens' Affairs Division, bring your health insurance card and carry out various procedures for changes.
A lump-sum childbirth allowance of 500,000 yen is paid when a member of the National Health Insurance gives birth.
Note: Childbirth until March 31, 2023 will be 420,000 yen.
If a member of the National Health Insurance dies, funeral expenses of 50,000 yen will be paid.
