Please complete this procedure within 14 days of withdrawing from your workplace's health insurance.
Please note that if you delay the enrollment procedure, you will have to pay the insurance tax retroactively.
(1) Documents that clearly state the date of loss of workplace health insurance eligibility Example: Certificate of loss of social insurance eligibility Note: Documents that only indicate the date of retirement (separation slip, etc.) cannot be processed.
National Health Insurance tax is levied from the month you qualify for National Health Insurance (=the month you withdraw from workplace health insurance).
Please note that the tax will not be charged from the month you complete the procedure.
If you join workplace health insurance, you will need to go through the process of withdrawing from National Health Insurance.
This must be done by the person joining, not by the company.

Entries are required for everyone including dependents.
(2) National Health Insurance Card All those who withdraw from National Health Insurance will be required to return the amount.
If you use your National Health Insurance card after the day you qualify for workplace health insurance, you may be asked to return 70% to 90% of your medical expenses (the portion borne by your insurer).

After completing the procedures for transferring to Inagi City at the Citizens Division, please complete the procedures for joining the National Health Insurance.
After completing the procedures for moving out of Inagi City at the Citizens' Affairs Division, please bring your health insurance card and complete the procedures for withdrawing from the National Health Insurance.
After completing the resident transfer procedures at the Citizens Affairs Division, please bring your insurance card and complete the various change procedures.
When a National Health Insurance subscriber gives birth, they are given a lump sum childbirth and child-rearing allowance of 500,000 yen.
Note: For births up to March 31, 2023, the fee is 420,000 yen.
When a National Health Insurance member dies, 50,000 yen will be paid for funeral expenses.
