For the purpose of preventing the spread of new coronavirus infections, National Health Insurance insured persons are forced to be absent from work because they are infected or suspected of being infected with new coronavirus infections, and their salaries are reduced. Injury and Sickness Allowance will be paid if you are unable to receive all or part of the benefits.
Among the employees who are enrolled in the Inagi City National Health Insurance (those who work for a company and receive salaries, etc.), they are infected with the new coronavirus infection, or have symptoms such as fever and are suspected of being infected. Those who were unable to work due to medical treatment.
Note: If you are able to receive all or part of your salary, your payment amount may be adjusted or not paid.
The number of days during which you were scheduled to work during the period when you were unable to work from the day on which you were unable to work for three days.
(Amount obtained by dividing the total amount of salary income for the most recent three consecutive months by the number of working days) x 2/3 x (number of days subject to payment)
Note: The most recent three consecutive months means the three months including the month in which the payment of the Injury and Sickness Allowance started.
Note: The amount paid per day is equivalent to two-thirds of the amount equivalent to one-thirtieth of the standard monthly remuneration for the highest grade among the standard monthly remuneration grades stipulated in Article 40, Paragraph 1 of the Health Insurance Act. The amount is the upper limit.
Note: If the amount of salary, etc. is paid even though the employee is no longer able to work, the difference will be paid if the amount is less than the amount of the Injury and Sickness Allowance.
The period when the payment of the Injury and Sickness Allowance begins, and falls between January 1, 2020 and May 7, 2023, and the employee is unable to work. However, if hospitalization continues, etc., the period is up to 1 year and 6 months from the date when payment started.
