What happens to the property tax if I sell the land/house in the middle of the year?

Property tax is imposed on January 1st of each year and is levied as tax for the fiscal year starting from April 1st of that year. Therefore, even if you sell it in the middle of the year, the tax will be imposed on the owner as of January 1st.
