I have forgotten the PIN number for my Basic Resident Register card, what should I do?

You will need to reset your PIN. Please bring your Basic Resident Register card to the Citizens Division of City Hall to apply. Resetting will be completed on the same day of application using the following identification documents.
(1) If you have a driver's license with an IC chip (please enter 4-digit PIN number, 2 types)
(2) If you have a driver's license without an IC chip, a passport, or a disability certificate (you will also need to present one more identification document such as a health insurance card).
(3) If you have a Resident Registration Card with a photograph of your face (you will also need to present another identification document such as a health insurance card).
If the above does not apply, resetting your PIN will not be completed on the application date. An inquiry form will be mailed to the applicant, so please respond and the resetting will be completed when you bring the inquiry form to the next office.
