On February 8th, a history lecture and quiz was held at the Inagi City Central Cultural Center to commemorate the 130th anniversary of the establishment of the Inagi Village System. Nearly 100 people attended the event.

At the lecture, Mr. Akio Sakurai, chairman of the Inagi City Cultural Properties Protection Council, talked about the history from the Edo period, when the six villages of Yanoguchi, Naganuma, Daimaru, Hyakumura, Sakahama, and Hirao were established, to 1899, when Inagi Village was established. He gave a lecture about the Inagi region and its historical flow.

Additionally, at the quiz competition, we asked quizzes related to the content of the lecture, allowing the children to deepen their understanding and attachment to Inagi.
