Sounding-type market research on the management and operation of Inagi City Library

Updated: September 3, 2024

Implementation of sounding-type market research

Currently, Inagi City's Central Library is run as a PFI project, and the branch libraries are operated directly by the city.
As the Central Library's PFI project period will end in June 2026, we are currently considering the future management of Inagi City's libraries, including the Central Library and branch libraries.
Therefore, we will be conducting a market sounding survey to hear the opinions of private business operators and to ensure that the city operates the facility in a more appropriate manner. We look forward to your participation.

Contents of main dialogue

(1) Regarding the management and operation of the Inagi City Library as a whole

  • New services not available in conventional libraries
  • About the project and costs
  • Regarding the library information system (whether or not to use vendors procured by the city, proposals regarding servers)
  • Future outlook for public library operations in light of the current situation

(2) Management and Operation of the Central Library

  • New ancillary services that can be provided at the Central Library
  • New uses for the cafe in the central building
