We are looking for a corporate version hometown tax

Updated: April 23, 2024

The corporate version of hometown tax is a mechanism that allows companies that support regional revitalization efforts by local governments through donations to receive preferential tax treatment, and donations received from companies are used for the following projects. We are looking for companies that agree with the city's efforts and support the corporate version of the hometown tax (local revitalization support tax system).

Project introduction

Supporting club activities at Inagi Municipal Junior High School

In order to improve the quality of students, to become familiar with sports and culture for the rest of their lives, and for the purpose of reforming the way teachers work, private companies are dispatching instructors to club activities at Inagi City junior high schools.

By activating exchanges between people who have a wealth of experience and students who belong to junior high school club activities, it is possible to fill in the gaps in teaching standards and environments.
In addition, we will strive to strengthen public-private partnerships for the purpose of working style reforms in public schools, as well as linking them to the operation of sustainable club activities.
In addition, we will use it to enhance the environment for club activities.

Other

We will use it for the projects listed in the regional revitalization plan (Inagi city town, people, and work creation promotion plan).

Points to note when using the system

  • Donations of 100,000 yen or more per donation are eligible.
  • Giving economic benefits to companies in return for making donations is prohibited.
  • About contribution of company where the head office is located in Motoichi, we do not become a target of this system. (The head office in this case refers to the "principal office or place of business" under the local tax law.)
  • Companies that have submitted a blue tax return are eligible.
  • Exceptional measures for tax credits under this system are scheduled until 2024.
  • For other details of the system, please refer to the Cabinet Office's hometown tax portal site.
