About Inagi Nashinosuke Digital Gift Certificates (PayPay Gift Certificates)

Implementation overview

With the Inagi Nashinosuke Digital Gift Certificate, for every 5,000 yen you purchase via the PayPay app, you can receive a 6,000 yen PayPay gift certificate with a 20% premium.
In addition, the PayPay gift certificates you receive can be used at PayPay affiliated stores within the city (excluding some stores).

About application

The application period ended on Sunday, April 21, 2024.

Applicants

For those living in the city who have completed identity verification within the PayPay app Note: You must verify your identity within the PayPay app before applying.
Note: To verify your identity, you will need either (1) My Number Card, (2) Driver's License, or (3) Driving Record Certificate.

Application limit

One person can apply for up to 10 units (5,000 yen per unit)
Note: Modifications or cancellations cannot be made after the application is completed.
Note: Winning gift certificates cannot be purchased in installments.

Winner announcement date

Winners will be announced on the evening of Thursday, April 25, 2024. Note: If there are a large number of applications, a lottery will be held after the application period ends, so you may not receive the prize you wish for.
Note: The number of winning tickets will be sent sequentially to your registered email address and notifications within the PayPay app.

Purchase period

From Thursday, April 25, 2024 to Saturday, October 19, 2024
Note: You will be able to make a purchase once you receive a notification via your registered email address or within the PayPay app.
Note: Winning gift certificates cannot be purchased in installments.

usage period

From Thursday, April 25, 2020 to Sunday, October 20, 2020

Transactions not covered

  • Payment of utility bills and taxes
  • Purchase of gift certificates, securities, and other items that can be easily converted into cash
  • Purchase of manufactured tobacco products as stipulated in Article 2, Paragraph 1, Item 3 of the Tobacco Business Law
  • Purchase of lottery tickets, etc.
  • Vending machine purchases
  • Payment for medical expenses and prescriptions at pharmacies, etc.
  • Any other matters that the city deems inappropriate given the purpose and intent of this project.

If the "Inagi City Gift Certificate" icon does not appear, please access the screen from here (external link) or via the QR code.
Note: To connect, the PayPay app must be downloaded onto your smartphone or other device.

Winners will be provided with support for purchasing "Inagi Nashinosuke Digital Gift Certificates" at the following stores.
If you are interested, please make a reservation in advance at the store before visiting.

How to purchase and use a digital gift certificate if you win one

[Flow from purchase to usage]
1. Once you receive the email notifying you of your winnings, select the "Inagi City Gift Certificate" icon in the PayPay app.
 
2. Check the number of winning tickets and purchase them by clicking "Pay"
There are two ways to "pay":
(1) Charge the balance in the PayPay app and pay. (2) Pay with a PayPay card (with credit function).
Note: If you are paying using the method (1) above, please make sure that the purchase amount of the digital gift certificate has been charged to the PayPay app in advance.
 
3. Use at stores that accept PayPay gift certificates
Note: The usage method is the same as regular PayPay payment method.

  3. Select "Pay"

How to charge cash into the PayPay app

How to charge your card at an ATM at Seven-Eleven or Lawson

  1. Go to a Seven Bank or Lawson Bank ATM
  2. Select "Smartphone Transactions" or "Mobile Transactions" on the ATM screen
  3. Open the PayPay app, select "Scan" and read the QR code displayed on the ATM.
  4. Enter the number displayed on the PayPay app into the ATM.
  5. Follow the instructions and insert cash into the ATM to confirm.

How to check the balance of your digital gift certificate

  1. Select "Wallet" in the PayPay app
  2. Select Breakdown/Withdrawal or PayPay Gift Certificate
  3. Select a PayPay gift certificate
