About national pension premium exemption due to decrease in income due to the influence of new coronavirus infectious disease

If you have difficulty paying your national pension insurance premiums due to the effects of the new coronavirus, you can apply for a temporary exemption.
Target audience
National Pension No. 1 insured person who corresponds to all of the following (1) Decreased income due to the influence of the new coronavirus infection after February 2020 (2) 2nd year of Reiwa 2 Based on the income situation after March 2019, the estimated income during the current year is expected to be at a level that corresponds to the exemption of national pension insurance premiums.
Target period
Until the application for 2020 (for students, from April 2020 to March 2020, for non-students, from July 2020 to June 2020).
National pension insurance premiums from the month of application up to 2 years and 1 month ago are eligible.
