The role of street trees

Street trees have the following roles:
- It adds color and seasonal feel to the cityscape and improves the scenery along the road.
- It helps alleviate the heat island effect by protecting pedestrians from the strong summer sun, and by controlling the rise in surrounding temperatures through the transpiration effect of the leaves.
- The leaves reduce carbon dioxide through photosynthesis and purify the air by adsorbing air pollutants.
- Separates cars and pedestrians to protect pedestrian safety.
- Reduces traffic noise.
- It helps prevent the spread of fires along the road and prevents houses from collapsing in the event of an earthquake.
