Shiroyama Park
Last updated: April 1, 2023
As you go down the slope in front of the Central Library, you will see the Shiroyama Park entrance sign on your left. If you walk slowly up the slope from the entrance, you will come to a pond called ``Hachinomaru''.
Hachi no Maru used to have beautiful lotus flowers blooming in the past, but now it has completely changed its appearance. It is commonly known as Otama Pond, and depending on the time of year, you may see lively tadpoles and water striders. If you follow the paved road with the Otama Pond on your right and pass under the wisteria trellis, you will arrive at a spacious lawn area.
At the edge of the grass field, a stone slide lies flat.
For small children, please have an adult hold their hand to prevent them from falling.
The grass is green and pleasant, and it's a grassy square that makes you want to run.
The park is large enough for you to play ``Mate Mate''.
When it gets hot, take a break in the shade of a tree. Eating lunch, drinking tea... You can enjoy the picnic feeling.
