Environmental Learning Course "Where does electricity come from? Tour of Tokyo Electric Power Company facilities"

Call for Participation!
We will be holding a tour at a Tokyo Electric Power Company facility in Hino City, Tokyo, where you can learn about electrical equipment in your everyday life.
In the first half, there will be a lecture with video and you will learn where electricity comes from.
In the second half of the tour, you will be able to get a close-up look at electrical equipment that you normally don't see, such as utility poles and electrical equipment buried underground within the facility.

City Hall North Side Rest Square (Meeting time 12:50 pm)

Tour location

Tokyo Electric Power Company General Training Center (460 Momogusa, Hino City)
Note: Travel from City Hall to the tour location will be by chartered bus.

Dissolution place

City Hall North Side Rest Square (Around 5:30 pm)

Belongings

Writing utensils, drinks, hats, rain gear, heat stroke prevention goods Note: In the case of light rain, we may have to use rain gear and umbrellas for outdoor tours. Please be sure to bring rain gear.

Applicants must be in third grade or above and live, study, or work in the city. Note: Elementary school students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over.

Notes

・On the day, we will travel to the tour location by chartered bus. Please use public transportation to get to the meeting point at City Hall.
The tour includes some outdoor facilities. Please be careful of heatstroke as temperatures are expected to be high. (Only fluids and candy are permitted inside the facilities.)
The tour of the facility will be on foot. There will be steps and stairs, so please contact us in advance if you have any concerns.
The event will be held rain or shine. If a typhoon or other severe weather is expected, we will contact you by 4pm the day before to let you know whether the event will be held or not.
・There is no place to throw away trash, so please take it home with you.
