We will go into the bamboo forest near the hands-on learning center and dig for bamboo shoots.

Historic May dolls brought by residents of the city will be exhibited at the Experience Learning Center.

Kashiwamochi making (early May)
The kashiwamochi offerings on the Boys' Festival on May 5th are a nostalgic treat.
Once the rice cakes are pounded, they are wrapped in oak leaves and finished.
The children also seemed to enjoy making them.

Wheat threshing (early June)
We will thresh the wheat grown in the field in front of the Experience Learning Center using a nostalgic thresher.
The drum, which is shaped like a hedgehog, is attached to the round area in the center, and as the drum rotates, the wheat attached to it is picked up.

Harvest Festival (early November)
Participants will experience harvesting sweet potatoes, taro, and other sweet potatoes grown in the fields around the learning center.
We also hold a variety of events such as work presentations.
