Boys' Festival (late April to early May)

Raising carp streamers
May doll exhibition
The historic May dolls brought in by everyone in the city will be exhibited at the hands-on learning center.
In the park, carp streamers, banner ( streamer ) We are raising the bata. Please take a look at the carp streamers blowing comfortably in the wind of Kamiyato.

Kashiwamochi making (early May)

The nostalgic Kashiwamochi, which is an offering of Boys' Festival on May 5th, mortar ( Thin ) and pestle ( Kine ) is used to pound the mochi.
Once the mochi is on, the kashiwa leaves are wrapped and completed.
The children enjoyed making them too.

Wheat threshing (early June)

The wheat grown in the field in front of the hands-on learning center is threshed using a nostalgic threshing machine.
A hedgehog-like drum is attached to the rounded center, and as the drum rotates, it sticks to the wheat. paddy ( Fir ) drop the
again, straw ( straw ) etc. will be ejected to the front.

Harvest Festival (early November)

We will have a harvest experience such as "sweet potato, taro" grown in the fields around the hands-on learning hall.
We also hold a variety of events such as product presentations.

Hina doll exhibition (late February to early March)

Kamiyato ( Kasaya and ) Hydrophilic ( Shinsui ) in the park Kamiyato ( Kasaya and ) The Hina dolls and related materials donated by everyone will be exhibited at the Ryokuchi Experience Learning Center.
Enjoy the "Hinamatsuri" where everyone forgets their age and returns to their childhood.
