About declaration of water reduction amount of sewage discharge

Updated: June 28, 2023

About calculation method of the sewerage system usage fee, based on the Inagi-shi sewerage regulations, we regard consumption of tap water and well water and the same quantity as discharge of sewage and calculate.
However, if there is a significant difference between the amount of water used and the amount of wastewater discharged to the public sewage system due to evaporation of cooling towers, watering of grounds, etc., this can be reported (declaration of water reduction).

Notes

Only the amount of water used in the sewage system is subject to water reduction certification. The user (customer) is responsible for the installation cost of the private water meter (meter), the maintenance cost after installation, and the replacement cost (according to the Measurement Law, the water meter must be replaced once every eight years). Therefore, please be sure to consider in advance whether the effect can be expected to be enough to recover the cost.
