Inagi City and Soma City, Fukushima Prefecture, signed a friendship city agreement

On August 18, 2015, Inagi City concluded a friendship city agreement with Soma City, Fukushima Prefecture, with which the city has deepened ties through support for recovery and reconstruction following the Great East Japan Earthquake.

Based on this agreement, we hope to promote exchanges between a wide range of residents and further deepen friendships in the future.

Contents of the Agreement

Friendship City Agreement between Inagi City, Tokyo and Soma City, Fukushima Prefecture

 In response to Soma City, Fukushima Prefecture, which suffered great damage from the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred on March 11, 2011, Inagi City, Tokyo, immediately began supporting the disaster victims in a spirit of camaraderie, and working with citizens to help with recovery and reconstruction. Through these support projects, we will continue to cherish the friendship that has developed between the citizens of both cities, and will conclude a friendship city agreement with the aim of supporting each other's development.
