Bicycle town Inagi

Updated: May 11, 2023

Inagi City has many places where you can enjoy cycling, such as the Tama River Cycling Road and the Minami Tama Ridge Road, so many cyclists visit from inside and outside the city.
In addition, in 2018, we introduced a share cycle and are focusing on improving the environment to increase the ease of getting around the city.
Furthermore, the cycling course (road race) of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games passed through the city.
We will continue to promote the development of an attractive city for cyclists under the slogan “Bicycle Town Inagi”.
Note: Due to the revision of the Road Traffic Law, from April 1, 2020, wearing a helmet when riding a bicycle has become an obligation. We have heard from the operator that bicycle-sharing stations do not have built-in helmets due to hygiene issues and safety issues due to size discrepancies, but share-cycle users should ensure their own safety. From this point of view, please actively wear a helmet.
