Setting up donation boxes for humanitarian aid in Ukraine

The city will be accepting donations as follows in order to provide humanitarian assistance to the people of Ukraine whose lives and livelihoods are under immediate threat. Donation boxes will be set up at 10 public facilities in the city, and the collected funds will be sent as humanitarian relief funds. We appreciate your cooperation.

Note: Regarding the general guide on the 1st floor of the City Hall main building, installation is only available during business hours on weekdays. On days when the office is open on holidays, etc., please use the donation boxes set up at the Central Cultural Center or Regional Promotion Plaza.

Tuesday, April 19, 2020 We delivered donations to the Embassy of Ukraine.
On Tuesday, April 19, 2020, we visited the Embassy of Ukraine in Japan and handed over the donations made in Inagi City from March 1 (Tuesday) to April 3 (Sunday). The amount donated was 1,950,969 yen, and we would like to once again express our gratitude to everyone who donated.
On the day of the event, the mayor and two city council members visited the city and handed over a donation filled with the wishes of the citizens of Inagi for peace to Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Sergiy Korsunsky.

On Wednesday, January 18, 2020, donations made in Inagi City from October 1 (Saturday) to January 12, 2020 (Thursday) were donated to the Japanese Red Cross as "Ukraine Humanitarian Crisis Relief Fund." Friday, April 19, 2024: We made a donation to the Japanese Red Cross Society.
On Friday, April 19, 2024, the donations collected in Inagi City from Friday, January 13, 2023 to Thursday, April 18, 2024 were transferred to the Japanese Red Cross Society as "Ukraine Humanitarian Crisis Relief Fund."
