Installation of Donation Box for Humanitarian Assistance in Ukraine

The city is accepting donations for humanitarian assistance to the people of Ukraine, whose lives and livelihoods are in imminent threat. Donation boxes will be set up at 10 public facilities in the city, and the collected donations will be sent as humanitarian aid. Thank you for your cooperation.

April 19, 2020 (Tuesday) Donations were delivered to the Embassy of Ukraine
On Tuesday, April 19, 2020, we visited the Embassy of Ukraine in Japan and handed over the donations that were made in Inagi City from March 1 (Tuesday) to April 3 (Sunday). The donation amount was 1,950,969 yen.
On the day of the event, the mayor and two city council members from Inagi visited the city and handed over the donations filled with the wishes of the citizens of Inagi for peace to Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Sergiy Korsunsky.

On July 5, 2020 (Tuesday), the donations collected in Inagi City from April 4 (Monday) to June 30 (Thursday) were transferred to the Japanese Red Cross Society as "Ukraine Humanitarian Crisis Relief Fund." bottom. The remittance amount was 289,987 yen.
