[Typhoon No. 10 related information] City response

All evacuation shelters have been closed (11:55 a.m., September 1, 2024)

 The Central Cultural Center will be closed as of 11:55 a.m. on Sunday, September 1, 2024.

Alert Level 3 "Evacuation for the elderly and others" lifted (11:55 a.m., September 1, 2024)

 Due to the risk of landslides occurring in Inagi City, the Level 3 Alert "Evacuation for the elderly and others" issued to those living in landslide-prone areas at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 30, 2024, was lifted at 11:55 a.m. on Sunday, September 1.
For this reason, we will close the designated evacuation shelters that have been opened and abolish the disaster response headquarters.

Partial closure of evacuation shelters (August 30, 2024, 6:20 p.m.)

As of 6:20 p.m. on Friday, August 30, 2024, the evacuation shelters at the Second Cultural Center, Third Cultural Center, Shiroyama Cultural Center, and Inagi Second Elementary School were closed.

Central Cultural Center

Alert Level 3 "Evacuation for the elderly and others" announced (10:00 a.m., August 30, 2024)

Due to the risk of landslides occurring in Inagi City, an alert level 3 "Evacuation for the elderly and others" was announced for landslide-prone areas at 10:00 a.m. on August 30, 2024.

Elderly people and people with disabilities who live in areas subject to landslide warning zones and who will take time to evacuate, as well as their supporters, should begin evacuating to the designated evacuation shelters listed below or to the safe homes of relatives or acquaintances.

Central Cultural Center, Second Cultural Center, Third Cultural Center, Shiroyama Cultural Center, Inagi Second Elementary School

  • The general rule is to evacuate on foot, but evacuation by private car etc. is also possible.
  • When evacuating, please take food and other daily necessities with you.

Disaster response headquarters established

With Typhoon No. 10 approaching, the Inagi City Disaster Response Headquarters was established at 10:00 a.m. on August 30, 2024.

Crisis Management Headquarters Established

In response to the approach of Typhoon No. 10, the Inagi City Crisis Management Headquarters was established at 8:00 a.m. on August 30, 2024.
