About rental of space radiation dosimeter

The city rents out space radiation dosimeters. The lending method is as follows.

1. Those who can borrow
Those who fall under any of the following and are 20 years of age or older
- Those who live or work in the city
- Representatives of corporations and groups that have offices in the city
2. Rental model
Simple scintillation dosimeter (PA-1000 RADI)
Note : This is a device that measures air radiation dose. Radioactive substances such as food, water, and soil cannot be measured (converted into becquerels).

1 unit per application
4. Loan unit
It will be rented in units of one day on weekdays.
Rental hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
5. Rental window
We perform rental and return of apparatus in person in charge of environmental conservation counter on the second floor of city hall environment section.
6. Documents required for rental
- Documents that can be used to verify your identity (driver's license, resident registry card with photo, etc. issued by a public institution with a face photo)
- Borrowing application form (You can download it from the attached file below. You can also fill it out at the Environment Division window when you receive a loan.)
- Employee ID card, etc. (If you apply as a corporation, we will check the affiliation of the person who came to the window.)
In addition, we may ask you to prepare a power of attorney. Please confirm when making a reservation.
Note: For various notification documents, etc., if there is an error in the content of the description due to the abolition of stamping, please correct it with double lines.

- Rental fee is free. However, you will be responsible for the costs required for management and consumables after rental.
- When borrowing items, please comply with the lending guideline and the manuals and precautions distributed at the lending window.
- If the measuring instrument is damaged or lost, the borrower will be responsible for compensation.

Please make a reservation directly by phone or at the window.

9:00 am to 5:00 pm on weekdays

- If there is a reason for cancellation after booking, please contact us immediately.
- Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis.
- One reservation per person. It is possible to make a reservation again after returning the equipment.
Notes
- Please measure on land owned or managed by the person who received the rental.
- Before taking measurements at a place owned by another person, be sure to obtain permission from the owner in advance.
- Sublease of equipment to third parties is prohibited.
- Use for commercial purposes is prohibited.
- Equipment must be returned by the person who borrowed it.
- About trouble about measurement, city cannot take responsibility. Please be careful not to get injured or have an accident.
- Cleaning, etc. based on the measurement results is the responsibility of the person who performed the measurement. If you want to clean other people's land, please check with the owner before doing so.
