I found an injured wild animal (wild bird, etc.). What should I do now.

Updated: November 29, 2018

Wild birds and animals naturally live in nature, and it is necessary to maintain a certain distance between humans and wild animals.
In some cases, protection by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government is possible, so please contact the Wildlife Conservation Management Section, Natural Environment Division, Tama Environment Office, Tokyo Metropolitan Government (Tel: 042-521-2948). (Not all injured animals can be protected.)
Note: If the Tokyo Metropolitan Tama Environmental Office protects the wildlife, it is limited to cases where the finder protects (captures) the wildlife.
