Announcement of start of platform door use at JR Nambu Line Inagi-Naganuma Station

JR East is promoting the installation of "platform doors" to ensure safer use of stations for customers.
We are pleased to announce that platform screen doors will be installed at Inagi-Naganuma Station (platforms 2 and 3). We would like to inform you of the start date for operation and the planned installation date.

Tuesday, February 4, 2025

Platform 2 (Upbound: Towards Kawasaki) January 14th (Tuesday) to January 15th (Wednesday), 2025
Platform 3 (Outbound: Towards Tachikawa) From Monday, January 13, 2025 to Tuesday, January 14, 2025
The cabinets will be installed after the last train has departed and before the first train arrives.
After the enclosure is installed, operational tests will be conducted before it is officially put into use.
The above dates may be subject to change.

The platform doors at Inagi-Naganuma Station (Platforms 1 and 4) began operation on February 19, 2024.
