Inagi City

We collect debts other than city taxes, etc.

Last updated: September 7, 2015

Inagi City established a new non-tax receivables department in the Collection Division in FY 2014 in order to maintain fairness and equity among taxpayers, reduce the amount of delinquent public funds, and collect more effectively. The non-tax receivables department takes over receivables that have not been paid during the current fiscal year and have been carried forward (older fiscal year), and collects them centrally.
For those who do not respond to demand notices, etc., or who do not have an intention to pay, regardless of the amount of delinquent payment, we will take action such as seizure of property based on laws and regulations, or apply to the court to demand payment or compulsory execution. , we will strive to secure receivables.
If you are having trouble paying the tax, please do not leave it as is and consult with the person in charge of non-taxable debt collection immediately.

What is delinquency disposition?

In order to forcibly collect delinquent fees regardless of the intention of the person who is in arrears (delinquent payer), we will investigate the person's assets and collect deposits, salaries, life insurance, real estate, etc. This is a series of procedures to seize the property, sell it for value (public auction), and use it to pay off the unpaid fees.
This procedure is stipulated by laws such as the Local Tax Law and the National Tax Collection Law, and can be carried out without court permission if the city tax collector deems it necessary.

Note: After-school club training fees cannot be seized due to delinquency, so compulsory execution will be carried out after filing a petition with the court.

Debts handled by the collection department

Delinquent carryover of medical insurance premiums for the elderly, long-term care insurance premiums, childcare fees, after-school club training fees, and sewerage project beneficiary fees (for old years)
Note: Regarding the current year's receivables, the department in charge of each receivable is in charge.

Holiday opening days

The non-tax credit department's work (payment consultation, payment slip reissuance, etc.) is available only on weekdays. We will not be able to respond on public holidays, so please be careful.
Note: If you have a payment slip (limited to within the payment deadline), we will only accept payment, so please come to the Storage Department.
