Warning about capsule-containing sponge toys entering the body of young children

Capsule sponge toys are compressed sponges inside small capsules made of gelatin, and when you put the capsules in water or lukewarm water, the gelatin dissolves and the sponges inside are shaped like dinosaurs, fruits, animals, etc. It is a toy that comes out.
The toy entered the child's body without the parent's knowledge, and the child suffered from an unexplained illness for four months until the cause was identified by a medical institution, after which the child had to be removed under general anesthesia.
As there is a risk that the same or similar consumer accidents will occur in the future, the Consumer Affairs Agency will provide information in order to prevent the occurrence or spread of consumer damage based on the provisions of Article 38, Paragraph 1 of the Consumer Safety Act.
