Regarding exemption from national pension insurance premiums due to decreased income due to the impact of the new coronavirus infection

If you find it difficult to pay your National Pension Insurance premiums due to the effects of the new coronavirus infection, you can apply for a temporary special exemption.

Target audience

Those who are insured under National Pension Category 1 and fall under all of the following: (1) Those whose income has decreased due to the impact of the new coronavirus infection since February 2020 (2) February 2020 Based on the income status from March onward, the expected income for the current year is expected to be at a level that will qualify for exemption from national pension insurance premiums.

Target period

Until the application for 2020 (for students, from April 2020 to March 2020, for non-students, from July 2020 to June 2020).
National pension insurance premiums from the month of application up to 2 years and 1 month ago are eligible.

Identification documents (My Number Card, driver's license, etc.), National Pension Insurance Premium Student Payment Special Application Form, Income Statement, Student ID Note: If you are applying by mail using My Number, please provide a copy of your Individual Number card, etc. Please attach confirmation documents.

Non-students

Identity verification documents (My Number Card, driver's license, etc.), National Pension Insurance Premium Exemption/Payment Deferment Application Form, Income Statement Note: For those applying by mail using My Number, identity verification documents such as a copy of My Number Card Please attach.
