The Youth Development District Committee is committed to the healthy development of young people and carries out a wide range of activities in cooperation with various local organizations.
In Inagi City, what was established in 1968 on a school-by-school basis (three districts: Inagi First Elementary School, Inagi Third Elementary School, etc.) gradually became district-based, and currently there are 10 actively engaged district committees.
The role of the district committee is very important as a place where children of different ages can have a variety of experiences. It is hoped that children will grow up as a group through continuous activities in their local communities, and to achieve this, it is increasingly important to "strengthen collaboration" between families, schools, local communities, and government. . We play a role in improving regional strength by providing opportunities for practicing self-help and mutual assistance in the spirit of mutual help and mutual support.
The main activities in each district include participation in and implementation of local events such as Bon Odori and sports days, camping at Inagi Fureai no Mori, etc., Sainokami events, agricultural experiences, and radio calisthenics. In addition, we exchange information and work together at the Youth Development District Committee Chairman's Committee, which oversees all districts, and conduct night patrols in July every year as a district-wide project.
