The Inagi City Youth Committee was organized in 1965 and plays a central role in the healthy development of young people, mainly through providing leisure guidance to young people.

Inagi City commissions individuals with a track record of direct involvement in youth leisure guidance and the development of youth groups.
The fixed number of committee members is 16. Currently, 11 people are serving as committee members.
It plans and considers youth leader training projects, and reports on the activities of each committee member in the region.

It is organized by the youth committees of each ward, town, and village in Tokyo, and its purpose is to encourage and promote youth committee activities and contribute to the promotion of the healthy development of young people.

The purpose of this organization is to promote youth committee activities in the Tama region, to strengthen cooperation among committee members in order to enrich these activities, and to improve the qualifications of committee members.

Inagi City belongs to the first block, which consists of Higashimurayama City, Mitaka City, Hino City, Machida City, Fuchu City, and Komae City.
The Inagi City Youth Committee holds junior worker seminars and youth worker seminars as a youth leader training project.
