School lunches are meals provided to children and students in compulsory education schools, and are considered by law to be part of educational activities.
Inagi City provides full school lunches for elementary and junior high schools using a communal kitchen system.
In accordance with the law, parents are required to pay school lunch fees to purchase the ingredients used.
Please be sure to submit a "School Lunch Application Form" when you start school or move in, so that the city will provide school lunches to all students, and parents must ensure that they pay the school lunch fee. We have made a mutual promise.

Note: School lunch fees have been revised from April 2024. The increase due to the revision will be covered by the Inagi City subsidy "Inagi City School Lunch Fees Temporary Subsidy for Emergency Measures against Price Increases, etc.", so the amount borne by parents will not increase. (No action is required from parents.)
Note: The monthly school lunch fee is determined based on the number of school lunch days per year, but depending on the school, it may not be possible to use this number of school lunch days. In that case, the school lunch expenses for March will be settled (adjusted).
Please pay for school meals via direct debit to a financial institution.
When requesting a new direct debit or changing your account, direct debit application forms are available at municipal elementary and junior high schools and financial institutions in the city. Please fill in the necessary information, bring your passbook and registered seal, and submit it at the counter of the financial institution you will be using.
Note 1: It may take up to one month to complete your account registration. Please complete the procedure as soon as possible.
Note 2: The first direct debit date for fiscal year 2024 will be May 31st, and will be for April and May payments.
Note 3: If you are unable to use direct debit for some reason, you will need to pay by invoice. Please contact the Academic Affairs Division.
Note 4 : Please make sure you do not fail to pay school lunch fees. If you do fail to pay, legal action will be taken.
