Inagi City Special Disease Patient Benefits

The purpose of Inagi City's consolation money for patients with special diseases is to promote welfare by providing consolation money to those affected by special diseases.

Those who meet any of the following conditions

• Those who have an address in Inagi City.
• Those who have a specific medical expenses (designated incurable disease) recipient card and whose maximum burden is not 0 yen. Or those who have a Maruto medical ticket (Note) for a target disease.

(Note) The following illnesses are not covered by the Maruto Medical Coupon.

• Renal failure requiring dialysis
• Air pollution related diseases
• Medical care for children of atomic bomb survivors
• childhood psychosis
• Pregnancy hypertension syndrome, etc.
• Type B/C viral hepatitis

Those who fall under any of the following cannot receive special illness benefits.

• Those who receive welfare benefits for the physically and mentally disabled
• Those receiving disability allowance based on the Child Development Allowance Ordinance

Monthly fee: 5,000 yen

The amount for the four months up to the previous month (full amount of 20,000 yen) will be paid to an account in your name in the next payment month.
(Payment will be made from the month in which the application is submitted. However, there are exceptions, such as when a person transfers to another country.)

• June (February to May)
• October (June to September)

Please bring all of the following items with you and apply at the Disability Welfare Division counter (Counter 3 on the 2nd floor of City Hall).
1 Eligible medical ticket (not required for those applying at the same time as applying for a medical ticket)
2 Identification of the account to which the transfer will be made (must be in your name)
