On the 75th anniversary of the end of the war, we are remembering the precious sacrifices of the war dead, who laid the foundation for today's peace and prosperity, and in order to once again express our condolences as a nation, we are offering special condolence money to the bereaved families of the war dead. (registered government bonds).
Regarding the 11th special condolence money, we will issue registered national bonds with a face value of 250,000 yen (50,000 yen per year, redeemable over 5 years).
As of April 1, 2020 (reference date), the bereaved families of war dead at the time of their deaths are receiving "public service allowances under the Pension Act" and "survivors' pensions under the Act on Support for Survivors of War Injured, Sick and War Dead, etc." If there is no one to receive the benefit (wife, parents, etc. of the war dead, etc.), the benefit will be paid to one surviving family member in the following order.
Registered government bonds with a face value of 250,000 yen and a maturity of 5 years.
From April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2020
Please note that once the claim period has passed, you will no longer be able to receive the 11th special condolence money.
