Please see Routine (statutory) individual immunization for children . (Information will be sent to eligible persons before they are two months old.)
・If you have a clear fever ・If you are clearly suffering from an acute illness ・If it is clear that the ingredients contained in the vaccination received on that day caused anaphylaxis ・If you have a history of intussusception・If you have a congenital gastrointestinal disorder and treatment has not been completed. ・If you have severe combined immunodeficiency.
If your baby is full, he/she may not be able to take the vaccine properly, so we recommend that you refrain from breastfeeding for about 30 minutes before vaccination. Follow your doctor's instructions so that you can drink well.
Even if the vaccine cannot be swallowed or vomited, there is no problem with the effectiveness of the vaccine as long as it is confirmed that even a small amount of the vaccine has been swallowed, so re-inoculation is not necessary.
Immediately after vaccination, please go home after seeing the situation at a medical institution for about 30 minutes. Virus of vaccine may be included in flight of baby after vaccination for approximately two weeks. Wash your hands thoroughly after changing diapers.
If you have an abnormal reaction after vaccination, please consult your family doctor and contact the Health Center.
Intussusception is an intestinal obstruction caused by an intestinal tract.
It is known that the onset of intussusception may slightly increase for about one week after vaccination. In the case of 0-year-old children, the disease can occur even if they are not vaccinated with rotavirus vaccine, so caution is required even if they are not vaccinated.
If any of the following symptoms appear, please consult a medical institution immediately.
・Repeated crying and irritability ・Repeated vomiting
