On January 7, 2021, the government issued an emergency declaration for the new coronavirus infectious disease to 1 prefecture and 3 prefectures (Tokyo, Kanagawa, Saitama, Chiba), and 2 prefectures and 5 prefectures (Osaka, Kyoto, Hyogo, Aichi, Gifu, Fukuoka, Tochigi) were also added on January 13, 2021, and will take effect from midnight on January 8 and January 14, 2021. As the spread of the new coronavirus infection continues, we apologize for the various inconveniences to our citizens, but in order to survive this national crisis, we ask for your patience for a while longer, and we ask for your understanding regarding the following measures. Thank you for your cooperation.

Outline of the "Emergency Declaration"

The main changes to the "basic response policy" accompanying the issuance of the "state of emergency declaration" are as follows.

1. Self-restraint of going out (1) Requests to refrain from going out and moving unless it is unnecessary or urgent, especially after 8:00 p.m.

5 Schools, etc. (1) Rather than requesting school establishers and universities to temporarily close uniformly, request thorough infection prevention measures. Appropriate measures should be taken to secure learning opportunities through implementation, etc. (3) Thorough attention should be paid to students, etc. regarding club activities, extracurricular activities, measures to prevent infection in student dormitories, and social gatherings and drinking parties.

About the city's measures after the "Emergency Declaration"

In response to the declaration of a state of emergency, the city will comply with various emergency support measures, information provision, requests and instructions from the government and Tokyo Metropolitan Government, and at the "Inagi City Novel Coronavirus Infectious Disease Control Headquarters" , Partial restrictions on the use of city public facilities, sports facilities, parks, regional promotion plazas, and life and culture facilities, normal opening of nursery schools and after-school clubs, normal opening of municipal elementary and junior high schools, response based on basic policies at municipal hospitals, city officials measures such as going to work, working from home (telework), responding to staggered working hours, restricting work after 8:00 pm, changing commuting methods, etc. We will also consider countermeasures and take appropriate measures.

Request to citizens

We will continue to encourage citizens to take basic measures such as refraining from going out unnecessarily, avoiding the 3 Cs, and taking measures to prevent infection such as washing hands, gargling, and wearing a mask. We also ask for your cooperation in the "five situations where the risk of infection increases (social gatherings with drinking, conversations without masks, etc.)" and "ingenuity to enjoy dinner while reducing the risk of infection". .
