Kashiwamochi, an offering for the Boy's Festival on May 5th, is pounded using a nostalgic mortar and pestle.
Once the mochi is attached, the oak leaves are wrapped.
The children seemed to have fun making it too.

Wheat grown in the field in front of the hands-on learning center will be threshed using a nostalgic threshing machine.
A hedgehog-shaped drum is attached to the rounded area in the center, and as the drum rotates, it removes the paddy from the wheat.
In addition, straw and other materials are discharged to the front.
