Monkey sightings

A monkey was spotted near Inagi City Hall on January 6th, 2025. If you see a monkey nearby, please be sure to take the following precautions:

• don't approach monkeys
• Avoid eye contact
• Don't feed or show food
• Do not make loud noises (do not provoke or excite the monkeys)
• If you see it from your home, lock the door and be careful not to enter the house.

Location of sighting: January 6, 2025, 8:15-17 a.m.: Higashinagumanuma, Inagi City (near the road in front of Inagi City Third Junior High School and Inagi Fire Station)

Monkeys don't stay in the same place.
Please be cautious in areas where sightings have been reported.
