Sewerage fees are incurred by submitting a notification of commencement of public sewerage use stating that you are using the sewerage system.
[When you start using water: Complete the procedure at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Waterworks Bureau Tama Service Station]
For all newly installed meters, sewerage charges will be incurred as soon as water supply begins.
However, the following cases for newly installed meters are excluded:
[Notification to the City Sewerage Division]
For the time being, whether you have a new meter or an existing meter, please continue to submit a notification of commencement of use of the public sewer system when submitting the notification of completion of drainage facility construction (promptly after connecting to the public sewer system). There is no change to the requirement to submit this form.
If the sewer connection status is different from when you started using water, please promptly submit a notification of start of use of public sewer to the Sewerage Division. (For example, connecting a shared tap to the public sewer.)
For existing meters, sewerage charges will be incurred as usual by submitting a public sewerage service start notification form stating that sewerage is in use.
If you have any further questions, please contact the Sewerage Division.
Currently, the sewerage treatment population in Inagi City is over 99%, and considering that the majority of newly installed meters are being connected to the sewer system, we will be changing the procedure for starting to use the sewer system.
The change will take effect on September 1, 2024.
Regarding starting to use the sewerage system, procedures are mainly carried out by designated sewerage construction companies at the time of construction work, so residents living in Inagi City do not need to go through any procedures to start using the sewerage system when they move or relocate.
For all newly installed meters, sewerage charges will be incurred as soon as water supply starts. However, for (1) fields, (2) sprinkler taps (excluding temporary sprinkler use during construction), (3) common taps, and (4) areas outside of sewerage service start areas, we will treat them as not having sewerage, so please inform the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Waterworks Bureau Tama Service Station. If the sewerage connection status is different when water use starts, please submit a public sewerage use start notification form to the city.
For the time being, please continue to submit the form when submitting the drainage facility construction completion notification (promptly after connecting to the public sewer system) as usual. If there are any changes in the future, we will contact you separately.
Only for new meters. For existing meters, sewerage charges will be incurred as usual based on the notification of commencement of public sewerage use, etc. In addition, for suspended, discontinued, resumed, and unused meters, administrative procedures will be carried out by submitting a notification of commencement of public sewerage use, etc.
No, there is no need for individuals to take any further action. If you have a new meter, sewerage charges will start as soon as water supply starts. Regardless of whether your meter is new or existing, you will need to submit a notification of start of use of the public sewerage system to a designated sewerage contractor as soon as possible after connecting to the public sewerage system, just as before.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we would appreciate your cooperation as you can also apply online.
