1889 Meiji 22 Yanoguchi village, Higashi Naganuma village, Daimaru village, Hyaku village, Sakahama village, and Hirao village merged to form Inagi village (population 3,750).
1897 Meiji 30 Village office construction
1919 1919 Electric lights light up in Inagi village
1929 1929 Nambu Railway (currently JR Nambu Line) opened all lines between Kawasaki and Tachikawa
1935 1935 Opening of Tamagawara Bridge
1939 Showa 14 Pyrotechnic Factory Tama Explosives Factory (currently U.S. Army Tama Service Auxiliary Facility) opened.
1946 1946 Establishment of a hospital directly managed by Inagi Village National Health Insurance
1949 1949 Part of Oshidate and Tsunehisa was incorporated into Inagi Village from Tama Village, Kitatama County (currently Fuchu City).
1953 1953 Opened Inagi Hospital Sakahama Clinic
1957 1957 Town organization enacted (population 10,145, 1,940 households)
1960 1960 Simple water supply business started
1964 1964 Tamagawa Sanitation Association (garbage disposal) established
