Regarding rental of space radiation dose measuring equipment

The city rents out air radiation dose measuring devices. The lending method is as follows.

1. Those who can receive the loan

A person who falls under any of the following and is 20 years of age or older

• People who live or work in the city
• Representatives of corporations and organizations that have offices, etc. in the city

2. Rental models

Scintillation type simple radiation dose meter (PA-1000RADI)
Caution : This is a device that measures air radiation dose. Measurement (becquerel conversion) of radioactive substances in food, water, soil, etc. is not possible.

3. Number of rental cars

1 unit per application

4. Loan unit

Rental is for one day on weekdays.
Rental hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

5.Rental counter

Equipment can be rented and returned at the Environmental Protection Section, Environment Division, 2nd floor of City Hall.

6. Documents required for rental

• Documents that can confirm the person in question (driver's license, ID card with photo, or other ID with photo issued by a public institution)
• Borrowing application form (You can download it from the attached file below. You can also fill it out at the Environment Division counter when borrowing.)
• Employee ID card, etc. (If applying as a corporation, we will confirm the affiliation of the person who comes to the counter.)

In addition, you may be asked to prepare a power of attorney, etc. Please check when making a reservation.
Note: Regarding various notification documents, etc., if there is an error in the written content due to the abolishment of seals, please correct it by marking it with a double line, etc.

7, Others

• There is no rental fee. However, you will be responsible for the cost of management and consumables after the rental.
• When borrowing items, please comply with the lending guidelines as well as the manuals and precautions distributed at the lending counter.
• If the measuring device is damaged or lost, the person who borrowed it will be required to pay for it.

5, Others

• If you have any reason to cancel after making a reservation, please contact us immediately.
• Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Reservations are limited to one per person. It is possible to make a reservation again after returning the device.

Notes

• Please perform measurements on land owned or managed by the person receiving the loan.
• If you wish to take measurements in a place owned by another person, be sure to obtain permission from the owner in advance.
• Subleasing the equipment to a third party is prohibited.
• Use for commercial purposes is prohibited.
• The person who borrowed the equipment must return the equipment.
• The city is not responsible for any troubles related to measurements. Please be careful to avoid injuries or accidents.
• Cleaning etc. based on the measurement results should be carried out at the responsibility of the person performing the measurement. If you are cleaning someone else's land, please check with the owner first.
