Tama River Flood Inundation Area

On May 30, 2016, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism designated and announced the "Flood Inundation Area" that is assumed when the Tama River, Asakawa, and Oguri River overflow.

This map shows the result of simulating the area and depth of inundation caused by external water flooding in the event of the maximum possible rainfall (48-hour total rainfall of 588 mm in the Tama River basin). represents.

Misawa river basin and Tsurumi river basin inundation forecast area

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has released the Asakawa Area, Oguri River and Misawa River Basin Inundation Forecast Area Map (January 2020) and Tsurumi River Basin Inundation Forecast Area Map (October 2018).

This map shows heavy rainfall of 690mm/hour maximum rainfall of 690mm/hour in the Oguri River and Misawa River basins in the Asakawa area, and heavy rainfall of 772mm/hour maximum rainfall of 163mm/hour in the Tsurumi River basin. It shows the result of simulating the area and depth of inundation caused by external water flooding and inland water flooding when it rains.
