I would like to have a municipal tax/prefectural tax taxation (tax exemption) certificate mailed to me. Please tell me about the procedure.

In principle, applications will be accepted by mail for members of the same household.
Please enclose the application form, the fee (a fixed amount postal money order of 400 yen per document), and a self-addressed, stamped return envelope and mail it to the Municipal Tax Section of the Taxation Division.
Note: Delivery will be limited to addresses where resident registration can be confirmed.
