Welcome to Inagi Forest of Friendship
   

This is a healthy youth development facility where you can enjoy outdoor activities and recreation while enjoying the nature of Inagi. Admission is free.

User Guide

Opening period

Mid-March to November

Opening hours

9:00am to 4:00pm (Please note that city elementary schools and district committees may have different hours)

Those who can use it

Open to the public (Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays)

Anyone, whether from within the city or outside the city (Advance registration is required for groups of 10 or more)
Note: Opening hours may be canceled due to bad weather, maintenance work, youth development activities, etc. Please check the public opening announcement for details of opening days.

Treasure Box in the Forest (10 times a year)

We offer traditional games, woodworking, and book reading. Traditional games include playing with marbles, ottodama, tops, and begoma. Woodworking involves making various things using branches, pine cones, and acorns. Please come and enjoy with your family. Anyone can participate.

Parent-Child Camp (August)

Parent-child camping campfire

Families with children in junior high school or younger can experience camping at Inagi Fureai no Mori. Come and spend a special time in a tent set up in Inagi Fureai no Mori. On the day, there will also be a campfire hosted by Inagi City Youth Workers. Applications will be accepted separately. (Limited to 15 families)

Charcoal grilling experience (November)

Charcoal making experience

Once a year, we hold a charcoal making experience near the campfire site. Wood is put into the charcoal kiln and taken out as charcoal after one year. On the day, you can take home charcoal made a year ago for free. Please come and take home as much as you can. Anyone can participate.

Prohibited matters (common)

Please refrain from engaging in any of the following behaviors that may be a nuisance to others: riding motorcycles or mountain bikes, karaoke, radio-controlled cars, air guns, picking wild plants, catching insects, bringing pets , pitching tents, tarps or hammocks , fireworks, smoking, bringing or drinking alcohol , taking photographs with large telephoto lenses or tripods, etc. Note: For other inquiries, please see the FAQ.
