Inagi City Utility Pole Elimination Promotion Plan

In addition to the law on promoting the elimination of utility poles, this plan presents the basic concept of promoting the elimination of utility poles in Inagi City, based on the trend of eliminating utility poles in the national and Tokyo metropolitan areas, and also prioritizes the elimination of utility poles. The aim is to promote the removal of utility poles on city roads in a comprehensive and planned manner by clarifying the routes that will be replaced by utility poles.
In addition, in order to advance urban development in line with the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) advocated by the United Nations, we will "promote inclusive and sustainable urbanization" and strengthen resilience against natural disasters. The plan is to effectively and efficiently eliminate utility poles while building smooth discussions and cooperative frameworks with related businesses, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, roadside residents, and others.
